RWANDAN CULTURE:

 

 

The culture of Rwanda is varied and colorful and includes traditional dance, music, art, cuisine and folklore.

 

Eleven regular national holidays are observed throughout the year, with others occasionally inserted by the government.

 

Additionaly, the last Saturday of each month is "umunganda",  a national day of community service, during which most normal services close down.
